Event Details
The open government movement is a work in progress, but each year we’re seeing greater developments in information accessibility and transparency, not just on a federal level but at the state and local level, as well. As we gear up for our fourth TransparencyCamp, we’re excited to showcase that work and propel it forward.
In the past, this “unconference” for opengov has brought together government officials, technologists, journalists and advocates to share their knowledge about how best to use new technologies and policies to make our government really work for the people. We’ve seen some incredible results from these conversations (CityCamp and CrisisCommons, to name two), but now it’s time to push a little farther.
This year, we're working hard to showcase the progress that's being made across the country at all levels of government, and to open up the conversation to what we as a community can do to support these new efforts. We're excited to have so many of you
involved in the planning process, and look forward to what we will accomplish.
